Your certificates and secrets, under guard.

Expired certificates stop production lines. Leaked secrets open doors. Strongroom finds both, watches them continuously and helps you renew in time.

Everything in one strongroom

  • Discovery

Discovery maps every certificate, key and secret across systems, devices and code.

  • Watch

Continuous monitoring with alerts long before anything expires, weakens or leaks.

  • Renew

Renewal support with clear owners, deadlines and step-by-step guidance.

  • Code Scan

Code scanning finds secrets committed to repositories and build logs.

What Strongroom looks after

TLS and web certificates
Code signing keys
API keys and tokens
Device and IoT identities
Cloud credentials
Secrets left in code

Frequently asked questions

What does Strongroom cover?
Public TLS certificates, certificates from internal and private certificate authorities, code signing keys, device identities such as X.509 certificates for MQTT and IoT, API keys and tokens, and cloud credentials. Strongroom also scans repositories and build logs for secrets that should never have been committed.
Do you store our secrets?
No. Strongroom records where each secret or certificate lives, along with metadata such as expiry date, key strength, owner and last rotation. It does not need the secret values themselves, which keeps the risk of the product itself low.
Does it work in isolated factory networks?
Yes. Strongroom can run lightweight collectors inside segmented or air-gapped OT networks. Only metadata leaves the network, and for fully isolated sites reports can be exported manually. This matters for manufacturers, where expired device certificates are a common cause of unplanned downtime.
How early are we alerted?
You choose the thresholds. A common setup is a first notice 60 days before expiry, a reminder at 30 days and an escalation at 7 days, each sent to the owner of the certificate. A leaked secret triggers an alert straight away.
What is included in a Strongroom Audit?
A fixed-price review of certificates, keys and secrets across the systems, devices and repositories you choose. You receive a full inventory, a list of weak, expiring or exposed items ranked by risk, and practical recommendations for ownership and rotation. Many organisations use the Audit to decide whether continuous monitoring is worth it.
Can Strongroom renew certificates automatically?
Where your certificate authority supports automation, Strongroom helps set up automatic renewal. Elsewhere it gives the owner a clear task with step-by-step guidance. We automate gradually, so a renewal never breaks a system that depends on a specific certificate.
